SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships will take place at VMI's Corps Physical Training Facility in Lexington, Virginia, this Friday and Saturday. This year marks the 90th edition of the men's championship and 38th women's championship. VMI is hosting the meets for the eighth straight season.
Friday's schedule will begin at 9 a.m. with the men's heptathlon, while the women's pentathlon gets underway at 9:15 a.m. Friday's final event, the men's distance medley relay, begins at 4:35 p.m. to cap the first day of competition. Saturday's schedule begins at 9 a.m. with the continuation of the heptathlon. The final event of the day, the women's 4x400-meter relay, is slated for 2:58 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony.

Nevius Fisher (60 meters), and
Cameron Dalton (200 meters).
At the 2024 SoCon indoor meet, the Terrier women had 117 points as they finished second overall for the third time in the last four seasons. The men were fifth overall with a school-record 62.5 points.
