BIRMINGHAM, ALA. – The Wofford women's basketball team used a big third quarter to earn a 24-point win, 80-56, at Samford on Thursday evening. The Terriers led 36-33 at the half but outscored Samford 44-23 in the second half.

"We were able to settle down in the second half," said head coach Jimmy Garrity. "I liked our team's identity in the second half.
