SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College football team will begin spring practice on Tuesday, March 3. Overall, the Terriers will have fifteen scheduled practices in March and April.
The team will practice for three weeks and then take a week off for Wofford's spring break. They will return for the final two weeks of practice. It will be the fourth spring practice under head coach
Shawn Watson.
The team won six of the last seven games last season to finish third in the Southern Conference. Wofford is expected to return thirteen starters – five on offense, eight on defense, and one specialist. Among those returners are defensive back
Eli Campbell (All-SoCon second team) and linebacker
Wyatt Ward (SoCon All-Freshman Team),
All practices are scheduled to be held on the lower practice fields. All times and dates are tentative and can change due to weather.
