Six Terriers Named to CSC Academic Women’s At-Large All-District Team

SPARTANBURG, S.C. –Six Wofford student-athletes were named to the 2026 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
 
The six honored include Bella Kent from the women's golf team and Vivian Chiomento, Carlie Cutinella, Ainsleigh Mancini, Brooke Meltcher, and Emma Stalteri from the women's lacrosse team.
 
Kent, a junior from Berkshire, England, played in ten tournaments this season for the Terriers. She was third at the Terrier Intercollegiate and tied for third at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate. A mathematics major, she has been named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll and the WGCA All-American Scholar Team. This is her second CSC Academic All-District honor.
 
Chiomento, a senior from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, played in 19 games with 18 starts this season. She was named to the 2026 Big South All-Conference second team. She set the Wofford single-season record for draw controls with 173 and also holds the single-game record for draw controls with 18. A German and English major, this is her second CSC Academic All-District honor. She has also been named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll and the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
 
Cutinella, a senior from Wading River, New York, started all 19 games at attack. She led the team in scoring with 43 goals and added eight assists for 51 points. A psychology major, she has been named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll and the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. This is her second CSC Academic All-District honor.
 
Mancini, a senior midfielder from Richmond, Virginia, played in all 19 games with one start. She had two goals and one assist, along with ten ground balls and four caused turnovers. A chemistry and biology major, she has been named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll and the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
 
Meltcher, a senior defense from Wading River, New York, started all 19 games. She led the team in ground balls with 93 and caused turnovers with 43. Her 4.86 ground balls per game were the most in the NCAA as she was named the 2026 Big South Defensive Player of the Year with first team All-Conference honors. A Spanish major, she has been named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll and the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
 
Stalteri, a senior from Fredericksburg, Virginia, started all 19 games in the midfield. She recorded 36 points on 26 goals and ten assists. A Spanish and international affairs major, this is her second CSC Academic All-District honor. She has also been named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll and the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
 
Academic All-District nominees must have at least a 3.30 grade point average. The At-Large category for women includes 13 different sports with a maximum of six nominees per school. For golf, a nominee must be in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's team scoring events or in the lineup at the conference championship tournament. For women's lacrosse, nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
