Volleyball Releases 2026 Schedule

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford volleyball head coach Lynze Roos released the 2026 volleyball schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The 30-match slate is highlighted by 15 home matches inside of Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. Wofford will face off with four power conference schools, including home matches against both Clemson and South Carolina.
 
The quest for a fourth-straight Southern Conference Tournament championship will begin on Saturday, August 29, at the Wildcat Classic hosted by Davidson. The team will play Winthrop before a matchup with Davidson on August 30. Wofford welcomes Presbyterian on Tuesday, September 1, for the home opener. A trip to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a tournament at NC State follows that, with matches against Charlotte on September 4 and NC State on September 5. The Terriers close out the tournament against George Washington on September 6.
 
Wofford comes home to play three matches in four days at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium after that. The team will start the home stand off against Coastal Carolina on September 10, followed by a matchup with South Carolina on September 12. Clemson closes out the three-game stretch on September 13. Back-to-back dates at High Point are next, as Wofford will play the Panthers on September 17 and Wake Forest on September 18. The non-conference finale is set for Tuesday, September 22, at home against Gardner-Webb.
 
Southern Conference play kicks off with a road trip to Chattanooga on September 25-26. The team will return home for its conference home opener against UNCG on October 2-3, followed by a midweek matchup with Western Carolina on October 6. Four-straight road matches are next, with the team traveling to Samford on October 9-10 and ETSU on October 16-17.
 
Eight of the last nine matches are at home to close the year, starting with The Citadel on October 22-23. The last road match of the season is a midweek matchup at Western Carolina on October 27. Mercer visits on October 30-31, along with Furman on November 6-7. Closing out the regular season is SoCon newcomer Tennessee Tech on November 12-13.
 
The 2026 Southern Conference Tournament is set for November 19-22 at the Harrah's Cherokee Center – Asheville. This marks the second-straight year the tournament will be held in Asheville.
