SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The three-time defending Southern Conference champion Wofford volleyball team reported to campus on Sunday, August 2, in preparation for a fourth-straight SoCon title. The Terriers held their first practice on Monday, August 3.
 
Head coach Lynze Roos enters her 12^th season as the leader of the program. Roos has led the team to three-straight SoCon Tournament championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. Last season, the team matched up with No. 1 seeded Kentucky in the Lexington Regional.
 
The Terriers closed the year with a 17-14 record and a 10-6 mark in conference play last season. That marks the third-straight season the team has reached double-digit wins in conference play.
 
Wofford's roster features 19 players this season – 14 of which are returners. The team will welcome four freshmen and a sophomore transfer from San Francisco. The team returns back-to-back SoCon Libero of the Year Laney Klika, who was also selected to the All-SoCon Second Team. Bradley Brown is back after an All-SoCon First Team selection in 2025, along with Chloe Smith who was on the second team. Smith also earned SoCon Tournament MVP as well.
 
Wofford will open the 2026 season against Winthrop on August 29 at the Wildcat Classic. The team will host Presbyterian on September 1 for the home opener. Wofford will welcome both South Carolina (Sept. 12) and Clemson (Sept. 13) inside of Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. SoCon action will start with a trip to Chattanooga on September 25. The SoCon Tournament will be held at Harrah's Cherokee Center – Asheville for the second consecutive year.
