2008-09: Named All-Southern Conference third team by the media ... Played in 25 games with 23 starts ... Missed five games due to injury ... Second on the team in scoring with 375 points (15.0 ppg) ... Led the team with 76 three-pointers ... Team leader in scoring in nine games and had 18 double-digit scoring outings ... Also named to NABC All-District 22 second team ... In the SoCon, was seventh with 15.0 points per game, ninth in free throw percentage (78.6%), third in three pointers made (3.0) and also fifth with 32.8 minutes played per game ... Moved to fifth in career three pointers made (196) and attempted (520) in school history ... In the SoCon, was ninth overall in three-point percentage (.396) and twelfth overall in three-pointers made per game (1.90) ... His 57 three-pointers were second-most in school history by a freshman. Picked to play for the North team in the Carolinas Classic North Carolina-South Carolina all-star game ... Broome finished with a 27-2 record in 2006 and was undefeated in winning the Region II-2A championship ... Was a three-year starter and three-time all-region honoree ...
