Biography

2022-23: Appeared and started in all 33 games for the Terriers… Was third on the team with 323 points and led the team with 179 rebounds ... Among Southern Conference leaders, was 12th in rebounding with 5.4 per game and was fourth in offensive rebounds with 2.4 per game … Had 19 games with double-digit scoring ... Led the team in reboudning in twelve games ... Scored season high 17 points against ETSU (12/29) … Had double--double with 14 points and 11 rebounds against Bob Jones (11/7) ... Also had a double-double against UNCG (2/12) with 13 points and 11 rebounds ... Against Vanderbilt (12/3) had 16 points ... In Southern Conference Tournament scored 14 in victory over three seed UNCG in quarterfinals… Added 12 points and seven rebounds in defeat against Chattanooga in the semifinals.

2021-22: Started all five games played prior to season-ending injury ... Averaged 9.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in 18.6 mins/g ... Shot 62.1 percent from the field (18-for-29) ... Averaged 7.4 points and 4.0 rebounds, ranking second on the team in that category ... Dished out 27 assists and totaled 20 steals ... Ranked second on the team with a total of 30 blocks ... Jones’ 20 blocks in Southern Conference play were fourth-most in the league, grabbing 32 offensive rebounds and scoring 7.4 points per game in 18 games played ... Scored 10 or more points 10 times ... Recorded a block in 19 games, swatting two or more shots nine times ... Debuted against Erskine ... Scored eight points and five rebounds in win over High Point ... Scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds at Butler ... Scored a career-high 18 points against Gardner-Webb ... Prior to Wofford: Three-star recruit out from Simeon High School, one of the top basketball schools in the country ... #10 overall prospect in the state of Illinois and #1 forward in the state ... In 2017-18, Jones served as a team captain and led Simeon to a 29-4 record as he averaged 17 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks per game ... Led Illinois in rebounds and blocks ... He was named Second Team All-State, won the Wintrust Athlete of the Month and was chosen as the Penny Hardaway MVP at the Penny Hardaway Hoopfest in Olive Branch, Texas ... As a junior, Jones averaged 9.3 points and seven rebounds per game, helping the Wolverines advance to the Class 4A state title game after winning the city championship ... Played for Meanstreats and Caron Butler on the AAU circuit.
