Heath Bradley

Wofford College added Heath Bradley to the men’s golf staff as assistant coach in the fall of 2017. 
 
Bradley works full-time for Cleveland/Srixon as a field service representative in South Carolina. 

Before moving to South Carolina, he worked at the University of Louisville as the Director of Golf Operations for both the men’s and women’s programs.

During his time at Louisville, the Cardinals saw success both on the course and in the classroom. The men’s program reached the NCAA Championship, finishing 14th, while Robin Sciot-Siegrist won the ACC Individual Championship and was named to the 2016 European Palmer Cup team. The Cardinals also excelled in the classroom, earning GCAA All-Academic team honors.

The women’s program was also successful on the course and in the classroom. The Cardinals reached NCAA Regionals and Freshman Olivia Cason reached the NCAA Championship as an individual. The Cardinals also recorded multiple team and individual championships, including the 2015 Cardinal Cup hosted at the University of Louisville Golf Club. Three Cardinals were also named WGCA All-American Scholars.
 
While at Louisville, Bradley’s daily duties included; travel scheduling, practice preparation, tournament preparation, and recruiting logistics. He also worked directly with the Louisville Compliance and Academic Advising Departments for the programs. He oversaw the teams Jump-Forward accounts, logging team practice, travel, and recruiting, while also working with the coaching staff on the academic requirements for both current and incoming student-athletes. Bradley also planned and helped host on campus recruiting activities for the programs, including meals, events, and transportation. Bradley also played a role in tournament preparation for the Cardinals, building yardage books for each event.

He also planned and hosted multiple collegiate events, including the Cardinal Cup held in Louisville, and the Fall Kickoff, held in Atlanta, Georgia. Bradley was the main point of communication between both teams and the courses and coordinated the activities surrounding each event. He also coordinated camps for both programs, hosting camps in both the winter and summer for local golfers.

These camps were held at both the on-campus facility as well as ULGC, the home course of the University. Bradley coordinated camp promotion, registration, staffing, as well as daily operations during the camp. He also played an integral part in the fundraising department for each program, hosting events, sending newsletters, and working with former players and local supporters to help support the programs. These events included, tournaments, clinics, and meals hosted at a variety of locations in the Louisville area. Bradley also oversaw the day to day operation of the programs social media accounts as well as recruiting mailings, and equipment coordination with the school’s equipment department.
 
Prior to his time at Louisville, Bradley spent the 2012-15 seasons at Clemson University as a member of the golf staff. While at Clemson, Bradley worked with both the men’s and newly created women’s programs, focusing on operations, fundraising, and recruiting.
 
While at Clemson, the Tigers reached NCAA Regionals each year, including a trip to the NCAA Championship in 2015. During this time, the Tigers won four events, and had numerous individual champions. Bradley’s tenure at Clemson also saw the creation and debut of the women’s golf program. The women’s program was immediately successful, reaching NCAA Regionals in their inaugural season.
 
Bradley wore many hats for the Tigers, overseeing daily projects for both programs, including the growth of their programs on social media. With a background in athletic communications, Bradley helped each program reach the Top-10 in followers on social media for college golf programs. Bradley also played a large role in the day to day operations of each team, working at the on-campus facility to make sure all technology and equipment was ready for practice on a daily basis. Bradley also coordinated with the coaching staffs on keeping the facilities updated in terms of awards, graphics, and supplies. He also worked alongside assistant coaches in tournament preparation for the programs, building yardage books for the teams, as well as packing all necessary items for each trip for players.

Fundraising was another large role for Bradley at Clemson as he helped oversee the day to day operations of the Golf Fundraising group Golf Paws, from newsletters, mail-outs, gifts, and event events, Bradley helped operate the fundraising group created by former Tiger golfer Steve Bond. Bradley was also an integral part of the Tiger Golf Gathering staff, a yearly event held in Greenville, South Carolina that benefits Clemson Golf as well as the South Carolina Junior Golf Association, Bradley served as the director of communications for this event and was also helped with the day to day planning and day of event operations. With multiple on campus golf facilities, Bradley also worked with coaching staffs to plan and host on campus recruiting visits and events.
 
Outside of college golf, Bradley has spent time as a caddie on both the Web.com and Mini-Tours. He also has worked for Taylor-Made Adidas Golf as an Area Representative.
 
He received his Masters from Clemson University in 2012 in Human Resource Development and his Bachelor’s degree in Community Recreation Sport and Camp Management in 2010. Bradley, a native of Piedmont, S.C., and his wife Hannah, currently reside in Spartanburg.
