SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The women’s soccer team opens up conference play this weekend with two matches on the road. The Terriers will compete against Georgia Southern, Friday Sept. 24th at 4:00pm and then two days later at Davidson, Sunday Sept. 26th at 2:00pm.

Coach Kiah’s team currently stands at a 5-2 record, most recently defeating Converse 9-0 in a record setting performance last Sunday. The Terriers look to improve their standings against the Eagles Friday, who stand at 3-4 record on the year. Georgia Southern is coming off a 1-0 win over Coastal Carolina on Sunday, Sept. 19, playing in their final non-conference match of the season. After taking on Georgia Southern Friday afternoon, the Terriers will rest a day before competing against the Wildcats of Davidson. The women’s team is set to travel to Alumni Soccer Stadium in Davidson, N.C, facing off against the Wildcats at 2:00pm. Entering the weekend, Davidson stands 4-4 on the season, with their most recent action being a 2-0 victory versus Winthrop, last Sunday.
