SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford women’s basketball team’s game in the Asheville Collegiate Invitational against Radford in the Kimmel Arena at 2 p.m. on December 10 will be broadcast on WYMA-TV, My 40, in the Greenville/Spartanburg/Asheville/Anderson area.
Scot Powell and Roy Philpott will call the game with Tiffany Ervin as the sideline reporter.
It is the first time the Terriers have been in a televised game since CSS televised the College of Charleston-Wofford game in the Benjamin Johnson Arena on January 6, 2007.
The women’s basketball team enters the game at 6-2 overall, which is second best in program history through the first games of the season. Only the 1993-92 team had had better record through eight games, 7-1. The current team is tied with the 1989-90, 1991-92 and the 2001-02 teams in second.
The Terriers set a school record at 6-0 to start off the season.
