SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College and IMG College, the multimedia rights partner of the Terriers, have announced that all radio programming will be moving to Yahoo! Sports Radio WOLI 910 AM beginning this fall. The broadcast team of Mark Hauser and Thom Henson will be making the move as well to the new station.
The three-year deal with Davidson Media Group includes Wofford football games, men’s basketball games, the Mike Ayers Show, and the Mike Young Show. There will also be a series of two-minute segments featuring Wofford coaches and student-athletes, upcoming promotions and more which will run multiple times per day.
While being carried primarily on 910 AM, the station can also be heard on 105.7 FM and on the internet at woli-am.com. The programming can be accessed on the iPhone and Droid platforms with the TuneIn Radio app. In addition, football game broadcasts can be heard on 1440 AM in Greenville.
Mark Hauser returns for his 21st season as the play-by-play voice for Wofford football and basketball. He is joined by Thom Henson, who is in his 13th season as the color analyst.
“We are excited about this change for Wofford,” said Director of Athletics Richard Johnson. “While it was hard to leave a great partner in ESPN Spartanburg, we believe this new relationship will continue to build the Wofford brand in the Upstate.”
