SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College women's golf team wrapped up the first ever Country Club of Spartanburg Spring Invitational on Tuesday, earning third place with a two-round total of 41-over-par 617.

On a day where each of the top four teams struggled, the Terriers carded the second-best team score of the final round of 27-over-par 315. Freshman Katy Funk posted the best round of the five Terriers competing in the team competition, carding an even-par 35 on the front nine en route to a 4-over 76. Funk also posted a 76 in Monday's first round, and completed the 36-hole tournament tied for sixth place with an 8-over-par 152.

Senior Anne Marie Covar also earned a top-10 to help Wofford earn third place. Covar completed the tournament tied for eighth, carding a two-round total of 9-over-par 152.
