Fleming then made another layup at the 1:14 mark to cut the lead to 66-61 before Bulldog guard Chatori Major added a free throw with one minute remaining.
Â
The next time down the floor for Wofford, guard
Chanel Stokes drove to the basket and sank a layup to make it 67-63 Bulldogs. Coming out of a timeout with 33 seconds on the clock, Fleming missed two layup opportunities and Stokes missed a three, with Bulldog guard Paige Love gathering the rebound.
Â
Love would then sink a free throw after Fleming fouled her with 16 seconds remaining, and Knuckles gathered the offensive rebound on the second free throw attempt to give the Bulldogs a second opportunity. Guard Khalia Webb was then fouled and sank two free throws to ice the game with 10 seconds left.
Â
Knuckles finished with a double-double for the Bulldogs, gathering 24 points and 10 rebounds while hitting 6-10 three pointers in the game.
