Box Score Spartanburg, S.C. – The Wofford women's soccer team won 3-0 over ETSU on Friday evening at Snyder Field. The Terriers scored three goals in the first half and were able to deny the Bucs attack to secure the win. The win moves Wofford to 7-7-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the Southern Conference.

Wofford opened the scoring in the first minute of the match off of a corner kick.
Eva Dailey delivered it into the box where
Hannah Washko found the head of
Maggie Adcock and the Terriers were out in front early. Just over three minutes later Wofford struck again this time from
Hayley Younginer. Younginer played a great ball down the right sideline to
Katie Beuerlein who gave it back to Younginer who beat the ETSU keeper for the goal.

The Terriers ended the scoring in the 30
th minute of the match when
Eva Dailey linked up with
Hayley Younginer to stretch the halftime lead to three.

Wofford came out in the second half and continued to play good defense against the attack of ETSU. The Buccaneers totaled 13 shots in the second half but the Terrier defense and goal keeper
Alex Carroll kept ETSU off the board.

In the match Wofford totaled six shots.
Alex Carroll made nine saves on the way to her first win and shutout of the season.
Maggie Adcock picks up her first goal of the season while
Hayley Younginer picks up goals number 20 and 21.
Hannah Washko (7), Kaite Beuerlein (5) and
Eva Dailey (3) all added an assist in the match. The Terriers have now won seven matches on the season for the first time since the 2014 season.

Wofford will look to make it two in a row on Sunday when the Terriers host Western Carolina in the final regular season home match at Snyder Field. Sunday's game will be senior day and eight Terriers will be recognized prior to kick off at 2 pm.
