Spartanburg, S.C. – The Wofford women's soccer team won 4-0 against Alabama A&M at Snyder Field on Sunday afternoon. The Terriers got the scoring started in the 4
th minute of the game and never looked back. The Terriers (4-4) have now won 4 straight games for the first time since 2013 when the team won five straight.

Wofford struck first in the 4
th minute when
Hannah Washko delivered a corner into the box that was finished by the head of
Hayley Younginer. The Terriers found the back of the net in the 18
th minute again from a corner kick as
Eva Dailey controlled a bouncing ball and buried it in the back of the net. Wofford concluded the first half scoring in the 30
th minute thanks to
Hayley Younginer's second goal of the game, this time off of the assist from
Dani Segovia.

The Terriers remained in control of the game in the second half and added to their lead in the 68
th minute when
Hayley Younginer scored on a rebound goal. Younginer's third goal of the game came after
Emma Fletcher's shot from 38 yards was saved by Jodi Medina but the ball bounced right in front of the net and Younginer headed it in.

In the win the Terriers totaled 24 shots and 14 shots on goal.
Hayley Younginer finished with a hatrick, the first Wofford hatrick since Maureen Buff recorded one against Chattanooga in 2013. Younginer now has 13 goals on the season and 27 points.
Hayley Younginer and
Eva Dailey led the Terriers with three shots on goal each.
Alex King started her second game in a row and recorded her second consecutive clean sheet.

The Terriers will look to make it five in a row on Friday, September 22 when they host conference opponent UNCG at 7pm at Snyder Field.
