Eleven Terriers Earn All-Southern Conference Recognition

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference announced the 2018 football postseason awards today (Nov. 20). Selections include the coaches' All-Conference teams and specialty award winners in addition to the league's All-Freshman team. The Southern Conference Sports Media Association also selected its football All-Conference team and specialty awards for the 2018 season.

Overall, Wofford had eleven players earn first or second team honors from the coaches or media. The eleven Terriers are two more than the 2017 season. Wofford ended the regular season 8-3 overall and 6-2 in the Southern Conference to win the league title for the sixth time overall. It was the first time Wofford has won the title in back-to-back years. For the second straight season, the Terriers did not win any of the major awards. The Terriers advanced to the NCAA FCS Playoffs for the ninth time.
