SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Following the 2018 season, several Wofford College football players received All-America honors.
Justus Basinger was named third team FCS All-America by the Associated Press, while
Andre Stoddard and
Miles Brown were named STATS FCS All-Americans.

Basinger, a junior from Longwood, Florida, started all 13 games at right guard. He was second on the team with 81 knockdown blocks as the offensive line led the Terriers rushing game to 311.7 yards per game, which is fifth in the nation. He earned All-Southern Conference first team honors from the media and coaches. Â

Stoddard, a senior from Greenville, S.C., led the Terriers with 913 rushing yards on 156 carries in 12 games at fullback. His 11 rushing touchdowns led the team. He was named first team All-Southern Conference by the media and coaches. This is the second straight season he was second team All-American by STATS. He picked up HERO Sports third team All-America honors as well.

Brown, a senior from Cheverly, Maryland, started all 12 games on the defensive line. He led the team with 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks. The rushing defense was ranked first in the league. This season he earned All-Southern Conference first team honors from the media and coaches. He was a third team All-American by STATS for the second straight season.

Blake Jeresaty and
Josh Burger were named honorable mention HERO Sports Sophomore All-Americans.

This is the third straight season multiple Terriers have been named All-American, as three players were honored last season. Wofford, the 2018 Southern Conference Champions, ended the season 9-4 overall and lost in the second round of the NCAA FCS Playoffs.
