SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford defensive lineman
Miles Brown signed as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday evening.

Brown, from Cheverly, Maryland, started 12 games last season on the defensive line for the Terriers. He led the team with 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks. The rushing defense was ranked first in the league. This season he earned All-Southern Conference first team honors from the media and coaches. He was a third team All-American by STATS for the second straight season.

For his career at Wofford, he played in 50 games with 49 starts and had 174 total tackles. Brown recorded 38 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks playing both defensive end and defensive tackle. He was named All-Southern Conference for all four seasons. As a freshman he was named second team All-SoCon in addition to a spot on the All-Freshman Team. During his sophomore season he was first team All-SoCon by the coaches and second team by the media. He led the team in sacks as a junior, earning first team All-SoCon honors from the coaches and media.

He becomes the first Terrier to sign as a free agent since kicker David Marvin. He will join kicker Kasey Redfern (Dallas) as the only Terriers currently on an NFL roster.

Brown will report to the Cardinals for a mandatory rookie minicamp from May 10-12 before organized team activities begin on May 20.
