Box Score Spartanburg, SC – The Wofford women's tennis team scored their first win of the season after taking down USC Upstate, 7-0.

The Terriers gained two wins in doubles matches coming from the duos of Kay Kluska and Lilie Steryous, and Alexandra Hildell and Brittney Wilbur. Kay and Lilie won their match 6-2, while Alexandra and Brittney won 6-4.

Meanwhile in singles competition, Wofford won all six of their matches, with five out of six matches being won in two sets.

"I am really proud of how well the team competed today. They worked thru their nerves and continued to get better as the match progressed," said coach Hall. "It was a great first match and team win."
