SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Miles Brown, a 2019 Wofford graduate, is preparing for his second NFL season with the Arizona Cardinals. Training camp began in the middle of August at State Farm Stadium.
In 2019, Brown signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted rookie free agent. He played in nine regular season games as he split time between the active roster and the practice squad. He tackled Mark Ingram after a one-yard gain on the Ravens (9/15) final offensive possession in his NFL debut and brought down Seahawks (9/29) Chris Carson for a three-yard loss in the fourth quarter. He added a tackle of Benny Snell Jr. for a one-yard loss at the Cardinals two-yard line against the Steelers (12/8).
Brown led the Terriers in 2018 with 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks. He earned All-Southern Conference first team honors from the media and coaches. He was a third team All-American by STATS for the second straight season. For his career at Wofford, he played in 50 games with 49 starts and had 174 total tackles.
The Cardinals open the 2020 season on September 13 at San Francisco.
