Emily Hodsdon recorded a consecutive double-double performance to pace the Terriers to a straight-set victory over Chattanooga (6-15, 2-6 SoCon), 25-14, 25-20, 25-17, at the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on Friday evening. The victory marks the eighth in the past 11 meetings, and seventh consecutive at home, versus the Mocs, as junior outside hitters
Kennedy Smith and
Meghan Yaffa finished with double-figure kill totals, followed by a well-rounded performance from freshman
Mary Emily Morgan with a pair of career-highs to move Wofford to 9-10 and 3-4 in the SoCon.

Fresh off her second player of the week nod on Monday, Hodsdon followed with another impactful performance, notching her fifth double-double of the season and 12
th of her career with a match-high 33 assists – outperforming Chattanooga as a team with 31 for the match – while adding 10 digs. Hodsdon also added a pair of aces on serve – currently slotted second in the league for total aces (30).

Additionally, Hodsdon ranks third among the conference in assists, averaging 9.50 per set.
Wofford overpowered the Mocs offensively, hitting .295 for the match to Chattanooga's .139, in addition to holding a 45-33 kill advantage for the match.

The Terriers were also on point defensively, setting a new season-high for digs in a three-set match with 68, while also maintaining a consistent presence at the net with seven blocks to the Mocs' two.

Kennedy Smith continues her stellar play offensively, adding her third-straight double-digit performance with a team-high 13 kills on 34 swings (.324), along with seven digs, a block and assist.
Mary Emily Morgan's contributions were felt all over, recording seven kills while tallying a career-best five blocks and matching a career-high 12 digs.

Meghan Yaffa added 10 kills on a vicious .450 hitting, marking her eighth match in double figures this season, in addition to eight digs and two assists. Sophomore middle blocker
Sarah Barham's presence was also certainly felt throughout the match, tallying nine kills on 19 swings (.368) in addition to two blocks and assists apiece.
