CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Wofford men's tennis team opened the fall tournament season at the College of Charleston Team Invite on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Patriots Point.
On Friday, the doubles team of
Callum Rendle and
Bryce Keim picked up a 7-5 win over the College of Charleston.
Ashe Ray and
Mark Endler (6-4) also had a win over the Cougars. In singles play,
Callum Rendle (6-3, 3-6, 6-1),
Will Fullett (6-1, 6-3),
Max Graham (6-1, 6-2), and
Alex Horn (7-6, 6-1) earned wins against players from the College of Charleston.
Saturday's competition had the Terriers playing against Campbell University. In doubles,
Will Fullett and
Alex Horn had a 6-2 win. The Camels swept all eight singles matches, with
Alex Horn the only Terrier to force a third set.
To complete the weekend, Wofford had two doubles matches against Coastal Carolina and two against the College of Charleston.

Alex Horn fell in a tiebreaker against the Cougars. In the singles matches,
Callum Rendle (6-2, 4-6, 11-9) picked up a victory against the Coastal Carolina, while
Mark Endler (6-4, 7-5) and
Alex Horn (6-2, 7-5) earned wins against players from Campbell.
"The fall is a significant time for development, but only if you give your best effort," said head coach Roy Ray. "We were engaged all weekend and I'm inspired by our level of determination."
Wofford will play in the ITA Regionals from October 22 to October 24 in Cary, N.C. before the Furman Invitational on October 29-31.
