BELTON, S.C. – The Wofford men's tennis team wrapped up the 2021 fall tournament season at the Southern Conference Fall Championship hosted by the Belton Tennis Association on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
 
The tournament, which is sanctioned by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, featured men's teams from Furman, Mercer, The Citadel, UNCG, Chattanooga and Wofford. The men played one 16-compass draw in doubles and one 32-compass draw in singles.
 
Weekend highlights included six players advancing in the opening round of singles. Mark Endler reached the main draw semifinals, while Ashe Ray was defeated in the main draw finals. Mark Endler and Will Fullett reached the semifinals of the main doubles draw.
 
"This was a fantastic tournament for our team," said head coach Rod Ray. "Mark Endler made it to the semis before losing in three sets. Ashe Ray made the finals where he lost a tight 7-6, 7-5 battle. We will definitely build on these strong efforts as we prepare for the spring."
 
Wofford will open the spring season against Kennesaw State on January 14.
