SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College men's basketball student-athlete B.J. Mack is scheduled to have a pre-draft workout with the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday, May 12, in Charlotte.
 
Mack, a 6-8 forward with the Terriers, has declared for the 2022 NBA Draft while reserving the right to withdraw from the draft pool by June 1 and return for his senior season at Wofford.
 
A native of Charlotte, N.C., Mack transformed himself into a second team All-SoCon performer last season for the Terriers, having reached double figures in 29 of 32 games, including a current streak of 21-straight, and more than doubling his scoring average from his sophomore season at 16.5 points (5th SoCon) and 6.1 rebounds (10th SoCon). He is ranked second among the Southern Conference at 53.8 percent shooting from the field, while also leading the Terriers at 44.8 percent from beyond the arc (39-of-87) and shooting 81.8 percent from the free-throw line (6th SoCon).
 
Mack has recorded six double-doubles this season, marked by a career-high double-double performance of 28 points and 13 rebounds at Gardner-Webb (Dec. 8). Additionally, the junior has tallied nine 20-point outbursts this season, with six occurring in SoCon games. He earned a spot on the 2022 SoCon All-Tournament Team and the NACA All-District Team as well.
