Women’s Lacrosse Coach Kim Eldridge Resigns

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College women's lacrosse coach Kim Eldridge announced on Friday, July 15, her resignation after leading the program for three seasons.

"It has been an honor to be a part of the Terrier family and help build the women's lacrosse program at Wofford College," said Eldridge. "I am resigning as the head women's lacrosse coach at Wofford to pursue other career opportunities. I am also looking forward to spending more time following my sons through their own collegiate careers.

"I would like to thank everyone that helped set the foundation for Wofford women's lacrosse and I am confident they will experience continued success. I would especially like to thank the players, past, present, and future for allowing me to be part of your journey. I will still be a strong supporter of women's lacrosse at Wofford College."

During the 2022 season, the team set a school record with five wins and had a 3-6 mark in the Big South to tie for sixth place. Her first season with the Terriers in 2020 was cut short after just six non-conference games. In the 2021 campaign, the team was 2-9 overall and the season ended in the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament.

A search for the next head coach will begin immediately.
