RADFORD V.A. – The Wofford women's soccer team fell on the road to Radford, 3-0, for the team's first loss of the 2022 season. The defeat moves Wofford's record to 2-1-1.

The Highlanders opened the scoring early at the 9-minute mark after Kayla Edwards found the back of the net off a pass from Alexeis Kirnos.

Radford continued to up the pressure on the Terrier defense rattling off eight shots (six on goal) in the first half. Wofford keeper
Caroline Doss was able to limit the damage from the high-powered Radford offense, making five saves in the opening half, holding the deficit to 1-0 at the half.

The Highlander offense continued to grind away at the Terrier defense to open the second half, leading to Radford's second goal of the game at 71:38 after Amy Swain snuck one behind the Wofford defense.

Five minutes later, Radford hit the dagger following Kat Parris' goal with just over 13 minutes remaining in the contest.
