SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team was defeated by UAB on Saturday morning at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Blazers earned a 4,580 to 4,412 win over the Terriers.
 
Wofford was led by Garrett Dall with an aggregate of 1,128 that was sixth overall. He had a 556 in small bore (sixth overall) and a 572 in air rifle (sixth overall). Ansely-Brooke Springer was seventh overall with a score of 1,107. Chanson Bullard has a career-best score of 1,105, which included a career-best 565 in air rifle. Charlie Yang posted a score of 1,072.
 
Brent Ling of UAB was first overall with a 1,149aggregate score. Amy Kohan (568) of UAB was first in small bore and Christopher Comstock (585) of UAB was first in air rifle.
 
The Terriers will be back at home next Saturday when they host VMI.
