SPARTANBURG, S.C. – In the final home match of the season, the Wofford College rifle team was defeated by VMI on Saturday morning at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Keydets scored 4,610 to 4,409 for the Terriers.
 
Wofford was led by Garrett Dall with an aggregate of 1,121 that was fourth overall. He had a 544 in small bore (seventh overall) and a career-high 577 in air rifle (fourth overall). Ansely-Brooke Springer was fifth overall with a score of 1,119. Chanson Bullard had a 1,078 and Charlie Yang posted a score of 1,091.
 
Christopher Hicks of VMI was first overall with a 1,170 aggregate score as he was first in both small bore (580) and air rifle (590).
 
The Terriers will face Georgia Military College and North Georgia next Saturday in Milledgeville.
