SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford women's soccer team dropped its first home match in three weeks to ETSU by a score of 3-0 at Snyder Field on Thursday.

Elizabeth Navola started her evening off fast, seeing three shots within the first 10 minutes of action. The freshman was able to corral five saves before the Bucs finally found the net in the 34
th minute to take a 1-0 lead. ETSU kept the pressure on the Terrier defense, scoring another goal in the 37
th minute to extend its lead to two scores. Wofford would head into the break trailing 2-0.
The second half saw a quick goal in the 49
th minute from the Bucs, giving the team a 3-0 lead. This served as the last goal of the game as the Terrier defense denied the final seven attempts.

Annie Andrews registered the only two shots on target for Wofford.
ETSU (3-6-2, 2-2-1) out-shot Wofford (5-8-1, 1-4) 19 to seven, including 11 shots on frame for the Bucs with the Terriers finding two. Wofford gave up nine corner kicks to the Bucs while the team took one.
Elizabeth Navola tallied eight saves on the night.
The Terriers will be back at home on Sunday, October 13, for a matchup with Western Carolina slated for a 2:00 pm kickoff.
