DAHLONEGA, Ga.– The Wofford College rifle team was defeated by the University of North Georgia on Saturday at the Col. Raymond C. Hamilton Rifle Range. The Nighthawks posted a score of 4,658 to 4,475 for the Terriers.
Wofford was led by Garrett Dall with an aggregate score of 1,132 that was fourth overall and a career-high. He had 47 centers and had a team-best score of 574 in air rifle.
Oliver Guthrie was fifth overall in 1,129, as he was the top Terrier in air rifle at 558 and had a total of 50 centers.
Charlie Yang had a career-best aggregate of 1,108 and Ansley-Brooke Springer had an aggregate of 1,106.
Maeghan Springer had a 519 in air rifle only.
The match was the final one of the semester for the Terriers, who will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, against UAB.
