DeLand, FL. - The Wofford softball team (6-3) split the third and fourth games of the Hatter Classic on Saturday. Game 1
Game one of the second day of the Hatter Classic saw the Wofford Terriers take a 2-0 win over the Fairfield Stags. Freshman hurler Natalya Salo got the start and pitched a complete game shutout, only giving up two hits with two strikeouts. The Terriers struck again in the fourth inning with a Gracie Parker RBI double to extend the lead to 2-0. The Stags had no answer to Salo as she only allowed one baserunner in the last three innings of the game to close out the win.
