STATESBORO, Ga. – The 2025 Southern Conference Rifle Championship took place at the Shooting Sports Education Center at Georgia Southern on Saturday and Sunday. Wofford finished eighth overall with 4,429 points.  
 
The smallbore competition was held on Saturday. In the team scores, Wofford was eighth with 2,148 points. Oliver Guthrie led the Terriers with a 549, which was 28^th overall. Ansely-Brooke Springer (548), Garett Dall (542), and Charlie Yang (511) also competed in smallbore for Wofford.
 
In the air rifle competition on Sunday, Wofford had 2,281 points to finish eighth. Ansely-Brooke Springer was the top finisher for the Terriers with a career-best 581 to place 15^th overall. Also competing for the Terriers were Oliver Guthrie (573), Garett Dall (570), Maeghan Springer (career-best 557), and Charlie Yang (540).
 
Georgia Southern won the SoCon team title for the fourth straight season. Wofford will be back in action next weekend against the Eagles and UAB. The NCAA Sectional will be held on February 22.
