Football Announces Ten Additional Signings

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College football program announced the signings of ten student-athletes during the signing period that began on Wednesday.

The Terriers will welcome six players on offense, two players on defense, and two specialists. The student-athletes are from five different states, including four from Florida and two from South Carolina.

"We're excited about this group of players," said head coach Shawn Watson. "We thought we did a really good job in the December signing period, and we've added to it with some high school players and also some transfers. We've hit all of our position needs. We were able to balance our board in terms of the different positions that we were trying to take, especially the offensive line and defensive line. We are also really excited about the skill position players that we're bringing in,"

Four of the signees - John Jones, Davis Penn, Tyson Stroud, and Kevin White - have enrolled at Wofford for the spring semester.

The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
