Wofford Men’s Basketball Announces Eight Spring Signings

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford men's basketball head coach Kevin Giltner announced the signing of eight players for the 2026-27 roster. The Terriers welcome four transfers - Chris Arias, Jacob Daniels, Cam Lowe, and Evan Ramsey. The four freshmen are Misho Kalinov, Jemon Price, Jhett Carter, and Jyi Dawkins. The student-athletes have signed aid agreements to join the program. They join Cutter Sisk as new members of the Wofford men's basketball team.
 
"We are beyond excited to have these new men in our program," said head coach Kevin Giltner. "They all come from winning teams with great coaching in their past. We feel like they represent the championship level that we are trying to build and maintain here at Wofford. Our staff has done an incredible job of finding young men who value education, have great people in their lives, want to be challenged, and understand that we all have to sacrifice for the greater group. We can't wait to get to work with them here in June, and we are looking forward to seeing it all come together."
 
Chris Arias, a guard from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, played two seasons with the Jacksonville Dolphins. As a freshman, Arias averaged 6.5 points per game while pulling down 2.1 rebounds per game to earn a spot on the ASUN All-Freshman team. In his sophomore campaign, the 6-6 guard found increased production, jumping up to 7.3 points per game while pulling down 2.3 rebounds.
 
A St. Petersburg, Florida, native, Jacob Daniels, comes to Wofford after leading the Lander Bearcats to an NCAA DII National Championship appearance. The 6-0 guard averaged 13.6 points and 5.6 assists per game and garnered Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year honors. Daniels led Lander to a 30-6 record – the best mark in program history.
 
Cam Lowe, a 6-6 guard, began his career at Colorado State before transferring to Black Hills State. The redshirt junior is a Colorado Springs, Colorado, native and was named an NABC Division II All-American after averaging 17.0 points and 6.4 rebounds on 47.5 percent shooting. Lowe also averaged 17 points on 49.8 shooting and 42.1 percent from three during the 2024-25 season. Lowe attended Lewis-Palmer High School where he was named the CHSAA 4A Player of the Year.
 
Evan Ramsey joins Wofford after two seasons with UVA-Wise. The Abingdon, Virginia, native averaged over 14 points in both seasons with the Cavs, pulling down 8.8 rebounds per game, as well as 107 blocks. The seven-footer scored over 1,000 points and earned VSHL All-Region 3D First Team honors at Abingdon High School.
 
Misho Kalinov, a 6-1 guard out of Silistra, Bulgaria, averaged 16 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game for BC Botev 2012 in the Bulgarian NBL this past year. He scored a season-high 26 points with six assists against Balkan Botevgrad. Kalinov also competed in the 2025 FIBA U18 EuroBasket, posting 8.6 points per game and a +8.6 efficiency rating.
 
From Chantilly, Virginia, Jemon Price is a 6-2 guard out of Westfield High School. Price was named the Virginia 6A State Player of the Year after averaging 18.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. He scored over 20 points nine times his senior year, including a season-high 32 points. Price totaled over 1,200 points in his high school career and was named to the Washington, D.C. Area Coaches All-Met First Team.
 
Jhett Carter, a 6-5 guard out of Titusville, Florida, is a three-star recruit out of Hargrave Military Academy. The four-year letterman amassed 1,790 points, 814 rebounds, and 238 steals during his high school career. Carter has been named to the All-Elite Prep League All-Defensive Team for the past two years, as well as the All-League First Team after the 2025-26 season.
 
Jyi Dawkins, A 6-4 guard from Greensboro, North Carolina, was the 2025 3A State Champion at Ben L. Smith High School. Dawkins averaged 32 points and 13.1 rebounds throughout his career, earning All-District and All-Area honors. He was named the NCHSAA 3A State Championship MVP during his junior season after scoring 29 points and grabbing eight rebounds in the championship game.
 
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
