CHATTANOOGA, TENN. – The Wofford College softball team fell 19-4 to UNCG in the quarterfinals of the SoCon Tournament on Friday morning at Frost Stadium. The Terriers will take on No. 6 ETSU this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.

Natalya Salo got the start, pitching 3.1 innings in what was her fourth loss of the season.
Margaret Axelson,
Sydney Baker, and
Maddie Berry also made appearances in the circle.
Brianna Stanley led the team with a three RBI double, while
Addison Lucier batted 2-of-2.
Kaytlin Greenwood went 2-of-3 with an RBI.
Abbi Campbell also recorded a hit. Â

Wofford threatened in the first inning with runners on first and second but could not score on the opportunity. It took until the third inning for either team to score, and it was UNCG taking a 4-0 lead. The Spartans added 15 more runs later on. Wofford scored four runs in the top of fifth but could not complete the comeback, losing 19-4.

The Terriers will look to rebound with an elimination matchup against No. 6 ETSU this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
