SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford women's soccer head coach
Kevin Dempsey announced the 2026 schedule on Thursday afternoon. The season opener is slated for a road trip to UNC Asheville on Wednesday, August 12.
The team will play two exhibitions in preparation, with the first at Georgia Southern on August 5 and the second against Campbell on August 8 at Snyder Field.
Following the season opener in Asheville, North Carolina, Wofford will remain on the road for two more matches. The Terriers will travel to Richmond on August 16 before a road match with Georgia State on August 23.
Five-straight home matches at Snyder Field will close out non-conference action. The Terriers will first welcome Gardner-Webb on Thursday, August 27, for their annual Retro Game. South Carolina State will visit on August 30, while USC Upstate makes the short trip over on September 3. Wofford will honor its seniors on Sunday, September 6, against Presbyterian before wrapping up non-conference play with a home matchup against Winthrop on September 10.
The Terriers start the Southern Conference slate with a trip to Furman on September 17. Wofford follows that up with a pair of home games against ETSU and Western Carolina on September 20 and 25, respectively. The match against Western Carolina will help kick off alumni weekend. Wofford travels to Samford, the defending SoCon Tournament Champion, on October 1.
Snyder Field welcomes Chattanooga on October 9, while Mercer visits on Thursday, October 15, for a Pink Game. Next up are road trips to The Citadel on October 18 and SoCon newcomer Tennessee Tech on October 24. The team's last home match of the regular season will be against VMI on October 29. Wofford will close out regular season action at UNCG on November 1.
The 2026 Southern Conference Tournament will begin on November 6 with the first round held on campus sites and the title game on November 15 at the highest remaining seed.
