SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted the SEARC 3 match on Saturday, October 31 in Andrews Fieldhouse. The Terriers finished third overall with a score of 2145 and Jordan Rawl was the top individual shooter for Wofford.
In the NCAA team scores, Wofford finished behind The Citadel men and North Georgia College and State University. The Terriers were ahead of The Citadel women and Birmingham Southern, marking the first time Wofford defeated Birmingham Southern.
Individually, Jordan Rawl finished third overall with a score of 561. Stephen Bryant was tenth overall with a 549. Whitney McJunkin fired a 518 and Cameron Ledbetter had a 517. Three freshmen also shot for the Terriers. Cody Chesneau had a 509, Chris Bollinger a 432 and Jenna White had a 351 in her first career match.
The Terriers will continue the SEARC season on November 7 at SEARC 4, followed by the Mercer Challenge on November 8.
