CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted the SEARC 5 competition on Saturday morning at Andrews Fieldhouse. Stephen Bryant led the Terriers to a third place finish.

Wofford scored a total of 2144 points in the competition. Freshman Stephen Bryant led the team with a score of 545. Jordan Rawl had a 541, followed by Whitney McJunkin at 539. Beth Mellette was at 519, while Cameron Ledbetter competed with a 502 but did not count in the NCAA scoring.

Overall, North Georgia College and State University led the scoring with 2169 points. Clemson was second at 2151, followed by Wofford at 2144, Georgia Military at 1988 and Mercer with 1897. Evan Bouchard of NGCSU led the individuals with a 556 score, followed by Jordan Smith of Clemson at 553.

Next for Wofford will be the SEARC 6 competition on February 28 in Birmingham, Alabama. The Terriers will return to Charleston for the SEARC Championships on March 7.
