SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team opened the 2010 SEARC season on Saturday, October 2 on the campus of North Georgia College and State University. The Citadel took NCAA match honors after firing a total of 2,261, finishing ahead of N.C. State (2,255) and Wofford (2,143).

In SEARC match scoring, The Citadel took the top spot, followed by N.C. State, North Georgia College and State University, Clemson, Wofford and Georgia Military College.

Stephen Bryant was the top scorer for Wofford at 566 to place seventh overall. Brian Cross of N.C. State took individual honors with a score of 576. Also shooting for the Terriers were Cameron Ledbetter (536), Christine Shelton (529), C.J. Tria (519), Cody Chesneau (514) and Josh Mangan (498)

The Terriers will continue the season on October 9 when Wofford hosts Alabama Birmingham for a match.
