DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Wofford College rifle team competed in the second match of the season at the SEARC 1 held at North Georgia College and State University. Wofford was led by Stephen Bryant with a 551.

In NCAA competition, Wofford finished behind NCSU (2246), the Citadel (2232), and North Georgia (2232). In SEARC scoring, Wofford also fell to Clemson’s 2214 but beat Georgia Military (2134) and The Citadel’s women’s teams (2156). North Carolina State’s Will Teller won the match with a 573.

As a team, Wofford fired a 2161 with Stephen Bryant scoring a 551, Cody Chesneau 546, Josh Mangan 545, and Olin Ballentine 519.

The team will compete next in the SEARC 2 match on October 8 in Charleston, South Carolina at The Citadel.
