SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted the SEARC 4 match on Saturday, November 5 at Andrews Fieldhouse. The Citadel won team honors with a score of 2238, while Wofford was fourth at 2116.

In the team standings, The Citadel was first at 2238, Clemson second at 2231 and North Georgia College and State University third at 2227. Wofford was fourth at 2116 and Georgia Military was fifth at 2091.

Individually, The Citadel’s Robert Jackson won the match with a 570. The top shooter for the Terriers was Stephen Bryant with a 557 to place ninth overall.

The team’s dual match that was scheduled for November 12 against UAB has been canceled due to the Republican Presidential Debate. The next match will be January 21, 2012 at SEARC 5 hosted by The Citadel.
