ANNISTON, Ala. – The Wofford College rifle team completed the 2010-11 season on Saturday at the SEARC Championships in Anniston, Alabama. The Terriers finished sixth overall with a score of 2129.
Stephen Bryant was the top scorer for Wofford at 569, which advanced him to the championship finals match. In the finals, he finished fifth out of eight with a total score of 670, the highest finish ever of any Wofford shooter in a championship. Josh Mangan fired a 546, followed by senior Cameron Ledbetter at 524 and C.J. Tria had a 490.
Bryan Cross of N.C. State took individual honors with a 683. N.C. State won the match with a score of 2299, followed by The Citadel at 2278. However the Bulldogs won the SEARC season title.
