SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted UAB on Saturday, January 14 at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Blazers won 2205 to 2198 in team scoring. The match was previous scheduled for November 12, but was rescheduled due to the Republican Presidential Debate.

Individually, UAB’s SirLinda Gee fired a 580 to take the top overall spot. The top shooter for the Terriers was Stephen Bryant with a 569 to take third overall. Others shooting for Wofford included Josh Mangan (547), C.J. Tria (544), Cody Chesneau (538) and Rodrigo Maceda (431).

The team’s next match will be January 21, 2012 at SEARC 5 hosted by The Citadel.
