SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted the University of Alabama Birmingham on Saturday morning in the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Terriers defeated UAB by a score of 2209 to 2157.
Freshmen shooter Tommy McKelvey finished in first place by firing a 568. Josh Mangan was second overall with a 557, followed by Jim Stanley in third place at 555. Nygia Bost rounded out the Wofford shooters with a 526.
UAB was led by Briana Lott and Morgan Fancher who both fired a 543.
The next match for the Terriers will be Saturday, January 19 in the SEARC 5 match at Dahlonega, Georgia.
