DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Wofford College rifle team competed in the third Southeastern Air Rifle Conference match this weekend at North Georgia. The Terriers finished third overall, ahead of Clemson and Georgia Southern.

Jim Stanley led Wofford with 572 air/550 small bore followed by Tommy McKelvey (567 air/545 small bore), Zoe Kloth (555 air/497 small bore), Seth Flanagan (552 air/501 small bore), Cierra Holcombe in her first match ever (538 in air), Nygia Bost (529 air/518 small bore), Reid Schuster (515 air/494 small bore), and Campbell Cox (504 in air). Flanagan, Kloth and Cox all recorded personal best scores in air rifle and Nygia Bost recorded his personal best small bore score.

North Georgia, ranked #19 in the nation, won the match with a 4568 NCAA and 4574 conference scores followed by the Citadel's 4434 NCAA/Conference; Wofford: 4312 NCAA/4360 conference; Clemson: 4292 (conference only); Georgia Southern: 4221 NCAA/ conference; and Georgia Military: 2196 (conference only). Â
