MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Wofford College rifle team finished third at the SEARC 7 match held on Saturday at Georgia Military College. The team score of 2239 was the highest this season for the Terriers.

North Georgia won the match with 2303 followed by the Citadel's 2259.  Wofford, with a 2239, defeated The Citadel Women, Georgia Southern, and Alabama Birmingham in NCAA scoring. In SEARC competition, the team also defeated Clemson and Georgia Military College. Tommy McKelvey finished fourth overall with 576, her highest score of the season.  Jim Stanley fired 565, Josh Mangan a 546 and Nygia Bost shot season-best 546.

The team will compete next in the SEARC 8 match on February 22 and 23 at The Citadel.
