GREENVILLE, S.C. – The third game of the Wofford baseball series at Furman was canceled due to weather on Saturday afternoon. The Southern Conference contest will not be rescheduled.
 
Rain began in the seventh inning of Friday night's contest between the two teams and despite some clearing, never completely stopped at Latham Field. The tarp was pulled at 6:10 p.m., but put back on the field when a heavy band of rain moved over the area.
 
Wofford is 20-19 on the season and 3-11 in the Southern Conference. Furman is 15-23 overall and 6-8 in league play.
 
The Terriers will host USC Upstate on Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m., which was originally scheduled for March 18 but postponed due to weather. On Wednesday afternoon, Wofford will travel to Presbyterian College before hosting Georgia Southern for a three-game weekend series beginning on Friday night.
