SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College baseball team will officially begin fall practice on October 2, with three games scheduled and the traditional Black and Gold Series concluding the fall. 
 
This will be the fourth season under the direction of head coach J.J. Edwards. Last season, Wofford was 34-22 overall and 12-9 in the Southern Conference to finish fourth in the league.
 
The team will have three fall contests, with the first being at home on October 10 against USC Upstate. Wofford will travel to Gardner-Webb on October 16 and then visit Longwood on November 7.
 
The annual Black and Gold Series will be held on November 11-13 at Russell C. King Field and will be a best-of-three series.
 
The 2027 season is slated to begin on February 19 at home against Rutgers. The full schedule will be announced in late October.
