After winning both games of a doubleheader against Samford on Saturday, Wofford finished tied for fifth in the conference standings with Appalachian State ... The Mountaineers won the regular season series over the Terriers and earned the #5 seed, while Wofford has the #6 seed and a bye ... Senior second baseman Seth Neely leads the team with a .284 batting average as he paces the team in hits, runs, and home runs, plus he has 22 stolen bases ... Junior Matt Ramsay is hitting .277  ... Senior third basemen Eric Brenk is batting .269 and is tied for first in hits ... Junior outfielder James Plaisted has a team-best 37 RBIs and has seven home runs ...
